A charming, unpretentious Palatinate wine tavern with local specialties like Schiefer Sack (a type of sausage) and Saumagen (stuffed pig's stomach). Excellent Flammkuchen (Alsatian flatbread)! Open only on weekends, as the owner is a winemaker himself.

It's always a pleasure going there! Typical Palatinate dishes, occasionally something special on the menu, cozy and relaxed atmosphere, it's easy to strike up a conversation with others, we love going there!!

The Saumagen (stuffed pig's stomach) and the liver dumpling were fantastic. They even gave us some information about the wines and the town. Great! We'll definitely be back. It's best to reserve a table in advance. 👍 …

A very nice evening spent with lovely people! The boss and his employee were simply fantastic, and you could tell they enjoyed entertaining people!

Delicious food in good portions; everyone who enjoys eating in a wine tavern will find something to their liking here. Drinks, including spirits, are also available at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent! We'll definitely be back. Five stars!

Probably the best local food, very reasonable prices, amazing big side salad and freshly made on the spot. Exceptional wines too- recommend it all together atmosphere is good old days- its a spot where locals go to get tipsy on good wine:)
